Greetings REMCO Members

Happy Memorial Day, Graduation and welcome summer! Thank goodness tax season is behind us and I can get back to enjoying retirement.

Our next membership meeting is Tuesday June 10th at the Elks. The program starts at 10am. Feel free to bring a guest. Reservations are needed if you are going to stay for lunch. Tri-tip is on the menu.

Our presentation is a speaker from the High Speed Rail Project. I personally know very little about this project, except for the buildings that are going to be torn down in Merced. Please plan on attending with an open mind. Have your questions ready. We can be polite with both positive and negative comments.

We have several board positions that need volunteers to keep REMCO going. If you could donate 28-35 hours a year to our organization, we would love to have you! Please review the article in this newsletter. WE NEED YOU!

We had great scholarship applications. The results should be available in the next 2 weeks.
